Cryptocurrency giant Ripple may add TPBank, a bank of Vietnam, on RippleNet, a global network based on Ripple’s products developed for banks and financial institutions, reported U.Today.
The transactions will actually be executed on Money Tap payment app powered by RippleNet and a Japanese payment app, PayPay.
The CEO of TPBank said the bank plans to collaborate with SBI Holdings through RippleNet in an effort to enable faster and more secured transactions.
RippleNet was created in collaboration with Ripple Labs and SBI Ripple Asia based on blockchain technology.
