After eight years of hiatus from cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus announced his re-entry into the game.
The announcement was made on Twitter, which garnered some considerable attention.
I bought dogecoin after 8 years of vowing never to buy crypto again, an hour ago.
I have checked the price 7 times so far since then. I was up 10% and now it’s back to up 3%.
Anyway, this seems healthy.

Back then, Markus made a vow that he would never buy any digital currencies again. While Markus was still kept in the loop regarding the crypto industry during the hiatus, he mainly posted joke tweets about price checking. However, it could be possible that the immense popularity and success of Dogecoin reignited his interest. Markus made his return by purchasing some Dogecoin.
This news was well-received by investors. Dogecoin has increased by 22.5% since then, bringing the current price to roughly $0.245.
