Wine Craft has just launched the first blockchain for the wine industry. The Ethereum blockchain enables consumers to enjoy significant savings when they buy bottles of wine at participating stores with the WINE token, an ERC20 token.
Wineries from all over the world are eligible for the Wine Craft program, which utilizes the WINE token to facilitate sales to local customers. Wine Craft is supported by Canada’s largest craft winery brand, operating for over 40 years and with 20 retail locations.
We know everybody is online today, but you may not know how massive the crypto enthusiasts community is out there. Getting online and getting into cryptocurrency has a huge appeal to the young generation, resulting in more sales and higher margin, and selling wines with a separate brand online will not affect traditional offline sales. Depending on the regulations each winery is subject to, being online and using crypto may also mean it can sell wines beyond its geographic boundary.

The service can be accessed via the Uniswap app after it has been connected to an Ethereum wallet like MetaMask. The customers can then decide the token that they would wish to convert.
