Cricket Foundation, a Singapore-based blockchain-based platform built by the cricketing community, has just announced the launching of the world’s first cricket-focused NFT marketplace — CricketCrazy.io.
The digital marketplace, which goes live today, houses over 50 unique moments from cricket history worth more than $200,000. On each day, CricketCrazy will add 5 NFTs (non-fungible tokens) featuring iconic moments from a library of over 20,000 (and counting) cricket media assets — contributed by its partners.
Joining the growing list of partners are Bitbns, Coingape, Wildfire Sports, Digvijay Sinh Kathiawada, Dermott Reeve and Pradeep Mandhani. Cricket Foundation now has more than 120 partners, as well as over 100,000 followers.
The Cricket Foundation is a Layer 1 technology, meaning it can host multiple applications that are built on top of it. NFTs are one such application which allows, for the first time in history, for fans and collectors to collect digital media.

Cricket Token (CRIC) has been successfully listed on Indian and global crypto exchanges last week with a market cap of over $200 million. CRIC is used in all applications that are built on the Cricket Blockchain platform, and is an integral part of the maintenance of security and integrity aside from being used for its governance.
