Tranglo will be supporting OmiPay when implementing payment corridors into China, Vietnam, Phillippines and Indonesia. Moreover, the two companies are working together to offer an affordable and accessible cross-border payments service to Australian users.
It has been revealed that Ripple acquired a 40% stake in Tranglo in late-March 2021. Tranglo now utilizes the ODL service of RippleNet, a network of institutional payment-providers that use solutions developed by Ripple, for XRP-based transactional payments.
Currently, Tranglo and OmiPay are looking to extend their services to international students seeking cost-efficient and convenient ways to pay off their tuition fees at Australian colleges.
