Pacsun Co-CEO Michael Relich said that the company strives to cater to their primarily tech-savvy Gen Z consumers by allocating a lot of their focus towards social media and e-commerce.
Relich added that the company started to offer BitPay as another payment method after noticing that their young consumers are growing interested in cryptocurrency. Pymnts.com has recently found that over 54% of current or former crypto owners are Gen Z.
Pacsun will also be working with influencers to create content surrounding BitPay and Pacsun on TikTok and Instagram, as well as hosting a branded livestream event with a Pacsun executive and a guest influencer.
