The multi-service DeFi platform Forthewin Network has been bestowed with an Excellence Award during the recent Neo Polaris Launchpad.
The platform enables users to mint and list tokens without coding experience, and it allows common use cases like trading and staking. Development teams of Forthewin ultimately aim to offer a tool for new dApps and projects to fundraise and give tokens to their first supporters and users.
Neo community developer who goes by the name of Ed developed and maintained Forthewin. In 2018, Ed first used his decentralized lottery and raffle application to join the Neo ecosystem. Ed stated he wants Forthewin to be used as a platform to assist new projects and kickstart financing for development during a conversation with NNT.
Forthewin submitted the Smith contract along with two recent dApps Swap and Farm for the Polaris Launchpad hackathon. Users can create and contribute to liquidity pools, switch between pools, and receive payments for providing liquidity with Swap. Users can stake LP tokens for fixed 100% APR using Farm.
In the Polaris Plus community voting round, the project won the prize worth 3,111.95 GAS as Excellence Award, which is equivalent to the US $8,000 in awards.
The Forthewin development team keeps improving and incorporating new features into the DeFi platform since the Polaris Launchpad hackathon.
Forthewin launched a Double Farm module in which users can stake LP tokens and earn two tokens as rewards. To exemplify this, users receive both NEP and GAS as staking rewards in the bNEO/NEP LP. At the time of writing, Double Farm pools support NEP/fUSDT, NEP/GAS, and bNEO/GAS.
Forthewin has partnered with TOTHEMOON to create NFTs of fused Rune and Cryptonaut. Decentralized on-chain Rune NFTs are generated via an algorithm. At first, they were used in a GameFi smart contract, where several Rune NFTs engaged in battle tournaments. The battle Arena module has moved to TTM’s website since the collaboration.
For now, the Forthewin development team takes part in the five-week blockchain entrepreneurship program at Draper University. The program aims to help the participants learn from top startup mentors and provide them the opportunity to pitch their projects to Venture Capital industries for additional funding and incubation.
