NASDAQ, the second-largest stock exchange in the world, has listed Ripple (XRP) on a new index on Nasdaq’s new website. Ripple has been gaining popularity with institutional investors worldwide recently.
Last year, NASDAQ announced plans to list XRP to its cryptocurrency asset index. However, due to some unforeseen reasons this plan was delayed. Finally, this year on August 16, XRP has been added to NASDAQ.
Previously, NASDAQ and other leading exchanges in the United States have already added the XRP Liquid Index (XRPLX) to the Nasdaq Global Index Data Service.
The successful listing is part of the collaboration between NASDAQ and Brave New Coin, an analysis company related to Crypto Kerrense. Brave New Coin intends to deliver real-time XRP index data to NASDAQ’s Global Index Data Service (GIDS).
