GhostMarket (GM) has just added a new feature that allows users to make open offers on any NFT they see on the multi-chain marketplace, whether or not the NFT is on the listed for sales.
Users can now choose to make either offers on individual NFT, or NFT collection. Only GM tokens can be used for this feature at the time of the press.
Users are allowed to make an offer on individual NFTs with GM’s Single NFT Offer method. NFT owners will see the offers on their account page and can choose to accept or decline, and its unique properties will be useful for buyers that are seeking specific NFTs.
A group of NFTs from a particular project is represented in a collection, and users can make open offers for one NFT within a collection with a Collection Offer method, and in turn, they are satisfied to receive any NFT from that project.
Case in point, users may choose to make a collection offer for Bored Doge NFTs collection offers, and receive any character from the series.
The open offer feature uses an in-house designed and implemented NEP-17 standard extension. While the offer is open, the extension doesn’t require users to lock tokens.
The extensions also integrate approval, allowance, and transferFrom methods that are found in the Ethereum ERC-20 standards. Users can pre-approve transferrable tokens when an offer is accepted via these methods.
