As the year 2022 is drawing to an end, former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has released his 10 predictions for the new year, some of which are being termed “wild” to “bizarre”.
However, Medvedev has also claimed that in the new year crypto will gain prominence, and the US dollar and the euro will recede to the background.
“The Bretton Woods system of monetary management will collapse, leading to the IMF and World Bank crash. Euro and dollar will stop circulating as the global reserve currencies. Digital fiat currencies will be actively used instead,” Medvedev said.
Dmitry Medvedev who served as Russia’s president between 2008 and 2012 believes the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank will crash in 2023 and crypto will take centerstage.
I’m impressed by Dimitry Medvedev’s insightful comment on cryptocurrency. He rightly points out that it has the potential to revolutionize the global reserve currency. Well said!” Tron’s Justin Sun said.
Sun also argued that crypto adoption in china is increasing and the best is yet to come.
Besides crypto, he made several other predictions on the international political front. He predicted a civil war in the USA and its disintegration, with Elon Musk becoming president of some of the states. Musk quickly dismissed Medvedev’s predictions as “definitely the most absurd predictions” he has ever heard.
Medvedev also predicted widespread wars and reorganization of countries in Europe. He predicted a war between Germany and France. “Northern Ireland will separate from the UK and join the Republic of Ireland,” he predicted.
