Global major brokerage firm Fidelity Investments is introducing a commission-free cryptocurrency trading service for individual clients. As of June 30, the company managed over $9.9 trillion in assets for about 40 million individual investors.
The company launched a waitlist on Thursday morning, allowing users to sign up for early access. However, the exact date for the official launch was not specified.

The Fidelity Digital Assets division will offer crypto custody and trading services.
With as little as $1, users will be able to trade. Even though Fidelity Crypto will not charge royalties for trades, every transaction processing price would include a 1% spread.
Fidelity stated to CNBC on Thursday that a sizable part of its clients is already expressing interest and owning cryptocurrencies. The firm is offering them resources to aid them in their decision making so they may take advantage of its technology, research, and education.
Fidelity Digital Assets has provided institutional investors with bitcoin (BTC) services for four years. The company recently implemented trading for ether (ETH).
