Elon Musk the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is known for his love for the crypto meme coin “Dogecoin.” His love for Dogecoin (DOGE) is no secret as he always tweets and makes jokes around the Shiba inu cryptocurrency.
Over the course of the weekend, Musk tweeted out a series of Dogecoin memes showing the “Dogecoin standard” is about to engulf the global financial system.
The crypto community responses were lively as someone has commented that Musk is about to pump DOGE to $1 just like the TikTok challenge has previously promised. At this point, it is no longer a surprise reaction as the meme coin’s price pumped up immediately right after the tweet, sending DOGE up 14% in no time.
Elon Musk’s series of Dogecoin tweets continues as earlier today, the billionaire CEO has sent out another tweet before it got deleted soon after.
The deleted tweet further teased Dogecoin whether it is a “valid form of currency?”
These back-to-back Dogecoin tweets raised questions among the crypto twitter if Elon Musk’s account has been compromised yet again. Some even joked that DOGE might be the currency to be the leading currency on Mars soon.
DOGE price pumped further from the second tweet, sending the price up more than 24% over the span of two days. The meme coin is currently facing a slight pull-back as it is being traded at $0.0035 at the moment of writing.
