With an eye on entering the Indian blockchain ecosystem, the Polkadot community is hosting a 2-day blockchain conference in Bengaluru on April 1-2, 2023. Polkadot Now India Conference will feature a range of high-profile projects such as KILT Protocol, Moonsama, Polkassembly, Astar Network, Public Pressure, Polkadex, and more, a press release from the organizers said.
The two-day event will see an impressive panel of speakers articulating the industry’s progress and challenges. Speakers include Bill Laboon, Head of Education and Grants at Web3 Foundation, Radha Krishna Dasari, Technical Education Lead at Web3 Foundation, and Gautam Dhameja, Delhivery Director at Parity. The event will feature presentations by Mark Cachia, Founder of Scytale Ventures, and Andrea Armani, Product Strategy & Growth at Ocean Protocol.
Polkadot was founded in 2016 as a blockchain network that would enable Web 3.0, where users can control their data. Network efficiency and security would drive the growth of the Web 3.0 market. Polkadot was founded by Gavin Wood, former Co-Founder and CTO of Ethereum.
