Africa-focused NFT and gaming platform — Cassava Network — has launched its third version (v3) that allows users to onboard from Web2 to Web3. It has been made possible by integrating noncustodial-savvy contract wallet UniPass, media reports said.
The partnership allows users to hold on-chain digital investments using their email addresses rather than relying on seed terms and gas, and send and receive on-chain digital investments. By partnering with UniPass, Cassava accounts will have direct access to the wallet for users, making it easier to connect with their favorite Web3 and Web2 brands.
The platform’s partnership with UniPass is aimed at onboarding Africans to Web3, allowing users and businesses to enter the Web3 space with ease. As users engage with their preferred brands, they will receive CB coins and various on-chain bonuses as stipulated by partners. Although CB coins are presently off-chain, users can exchange them for on-chain assets in the near future.
Additionally, CB coins can buy mystery boxes and concert tickets on the platform.
A Cassava Network’s business developer, Benjamin Obenze, said that the company had made it easy for African users to interact with their favorite Web2 and Web3 brands. According to Obenze, Cassava v3 allows partners to extend their market penetration in Africa. Additionally, businesses that collaborate with the platform can leverage the “community” feature to create communities on the web, generate engagement and attract followers on diverse platforms by creating incentivized tasks.
As per Mouloukou Sanoh, the Co-founder of Cassava Network, the latest version can enhance the African business economy by acting as a conduit for international Web3 businesses to unite with Web2 users in Africa. It’s worth noting that African businesses make up 90% of the associates utilizing the community characteristic of Cassava v3.
Cassava Network’s third version is a significant milestone for the company. It aims to increase crypto adoption in Africa by providing an easy-to-use platform that rewards users for interacting with Web2 and Web3 brands. The platform’s partnership with UniPass is expected to broaden crypto adoption and bring more Africans to the Web3 space.
