Major cryptocurrency derivatives exchange FTX is now the official sponsor of Major League Baseball (MLB), encouraging the mainstream acceptance of digital assets.
Every Major League umpire will receive an FTX patch on their uniform as part of the sponsorship deal, which is expected to last for five years at minimum. As time goes by, the agreement might evolve to include collaboration on the design of top brands.

”It’s not the only partnership we were considering, but the enthusiasm and creativity of the MLB team made it the one we were excited for,” said FTX founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
FTX became the first crypto company to secure the naming rights for a major sports arena earlier this year. The home stadium of Miami Heat has been named the FTX Arena after the exchange struck a 19-year deal with Miami-Dade County.
