The Libra Association posted the development of their blog saying that 51,000 transactions have been logged since the testnet was reset in September. Although many banks around the world are going against the Libra digital currency, Facebook is going ahead testing its network with “pre-mainnet”, a replica of the actual mainnet for testing purposes.
The association is delighted with the test and lauds the project developers who try to push the project forward. It says the developers have achieved 34 projects within seven weeks after the launch of the network, which includes 10 wallets, 11 blockchain explorers, 2 IDES, 1 API, and 11 clients.
Libra testnet has been introduced for the purpose of creating stability for the Libra core that helps solve problems in terms of system and help analyze problems. Once the testnet is stable enough, the actual Libra mainet that will be used for cryptocurrency transactions that are verified and recorded on the distributed ledger technology will be introduced next. The progress of the project will be updated on Github.
Libra has created a pre-mainnet environment that helps facilitate the test of the mainnet for the partners who are ready for full node.
